A little light on privacy.

Your account.

For moglight licensing, Google provides a verified account identifier and email address. We do not request access to your Google files, contacts or mail. Your account connects your trial, licenses, purchases and update renewals.

Your Mac.

The app reads its hardware UUID locally and hashes it with a moglight-specific prefix. We store that product-specific hash, not the raw UUID or serial number. It recognizes this Mac across reinstalls, prevents email changes from resetting trials, and permanently binds an activated license to this Mac. It is not an unbreakable hardware attestation.

Payments and hosting.

Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, billing details and payments. Cloudflare hosts the website and licensing service and stores account and license records. We store order identifiers and purchase entitlements; card details do not pass through moglight’s licensing API.

Cookies and records.

Secure, HTTP-only cookies keep you signed in and protect sign-in requests. The app keeps its session token and signed entitlement in macOS Keychain. An offline license file you choose to save contains the signed entitlement and display email, never your login token. We retain device and purchase records to restore ownership and enforce trial and license limits. Authentication codes expire quickly; temporary abuse-prevention records are periodically removed.

Your work stays yours.

The licensing API does not receive your searches, files, prompts, chat transcripts or screenshots. Features you choose to connect to AI services follow those services’ data handling; the website’s optional interactive AI demo sends what you type in that demo to Cloudflare Workers AI.

For account access, correction, deletion or privacy questions, contact am.will.ryan@gmail.com. Deleting an account may prevent license restoration; we will explain the effect before completing a request, and may need to retain records required for purchase administration or legal obligations.
